A listában értelemszerűen első helyen olvashatjuk a jelölő ország nevét, amit a film angol címe, valamint a rendező neve követ. Hazánk Goda Krisztina Kaméleon című filmjével nevez. Kívánjunk neki jó szerencsét!
Az Akadémai 2010. február 2-án hirdeti ki a Samuel Goldwyn Színházban, hogy a jelöltek közül mely filmek alkotói izgulhatnak majd a 2010. március 7-én megrendezendő gálán. A helyszín hagyományosan a Hollywood & Highland Centerben található Kodak Színház.
