Idén szeptemberben bejelentették az FSR 2.1-et, az AMD FidelityFX technológia legújabb lépcsőfokát (alig néhány nappal azután, hogy a Red Dead Redemption 2-be bekerült az FSR 2.0), most viszont már az FSR 3-ról beszélgethetünk, elvégre az RX 7900 XTX és az RX 7900 XT bejelentése mellett az AMD azt is belengette, hogy 2023-ban jön a következő lépcsőfok.
Az AMD FSR 3 a Fluid Motion Frames nevű technológiával hasonlóan fog működni, mint az Nvidia DLSS 3, viszont nem kapcsolódik majd hozzá semmiféle megkötés. A gyakorlatban ez azt jelenti, hogy az FSR3 bármilyen GPU-n működik, tartozzon akár az a vörös vagy a zöld istállóba.
A jövő tehát izgalmasan alakul, most viszont még csak az FSR 2.1-nél járunk.
